Your Guide to Ladies-Only Beaches in Jeddah
For many women in Jeddah, the perfect beach day is a private one: time to swim, sunbathe and switch off without a second thought. The good news is that the city’s coastline now offers more choice than ever, from resorts designed entirely for women to family resorts that set aside special days just for ladies. Here’s our guide to where to go, what to expect and how to plan your visit.
Two kinds of ladies-only beach day
There are two ways to enjoy a ladies-only beach in Jeddah. Some venues are created for women from the ground up and run as women’s beaches as standard. Others are family resorts that host ladies-only days, when the beach, pools and facilities are reserved for women.
On Beach Pass you never have to guess which is which. Our booking calendar highlights ladies-only days in pink with a hibiscus icon, so you can see at a glance which dates suit you before you choose a beach.
Go by the calendar, not the weekday
Ladies-only schedules can shift with the seasons, public holidays and private events. Always choose your date on the booking calendar: if it’s pink, it’s a ladies-only day.

Family resorts with ladies-only days
If you love the facilities of a larger resort, several of our partners reserve ladies-only days:
- Rixos Obhur Jeddah – a luxury resort with a private beach, multiple pools and a full-service spa.
- Siyal Resort – a relaxed North Obhur resort with a private beach, swimming pools and air-conditioned chalets.
- Mangrove Beach Resort – a lively beachfront with padel courts, beach volleyball and an on-site spa.
- Kona Marine Sport Club – perfect for a sporty day, with a marine sports centre and lifeguards on duty.
These venues run as family beaches on their other days, so check the colour of your chosen date before you book.
Booking your ladies-only day
Choose your visit date and number of passes, and we’ll show you which beaches are open that day and what kind of day it is. When you book a ladies-only day, you’ll be asked to confirm that all adult guests, including any accompanying maids, are women.
Entry for children follows each venue’s own ladies-only policy. If you’re planning to bring young sons, mention it in your booking notes and we’ll check with the venue for you.
A few tips for the day
- Arrive in the morning for the best choice of sunbeds and shade.
- Pack a modest cover-up for arriving, leaving and walking through shared areas.
- Bring a high-SPF sunscreen and a refillable water bottle, as the Jeddah sun is strong all year.
- Leave valuables at home, or use the lockers where they’re provided.
